Farewell by Kuwait’s well loved P. R. Mansour Al-Otaibi & Soad to UN, with special guests, including H. E. Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al-Harthy, Deputy Foreign Minister of Oman, was a grand event.  Ambassador Al-Otaibi – a world class diplomat – has served Kuwait as Permanent Representative to the UN since 2010 – for 12 years – with honor and distinction.

Dear Soad has served as President of the UNDWC, 2015 to 2017, with grace and able leadership to enhance multilateralism, winning over one heart at a time. In addition, she has also served and led: Women United for Japan(2011); Women for Children (Asia Pacific representative spouses Group)(2011 – 2014); president of Islamic Heritage Society (IHS) (2011 – 2016); and chairperson  for United International Bazaar (2016).

Amb. Al-Otaibi’s next important assignment is to go to Moscow as Kuwait’s bilateral Ambassador to the Russian Federation.

The America Times wishes dear Soad and H. E. Mansour Al-Otaibi good health and continued diplomatic excellence, especially to enhance peace during these “war hot” complicated times  – where it counts – in Moscow, with their usual integrity, honest warmth and friendship in their dealings with Russia’s F. M. Sergey Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin – so as to help enhance global peace.
