Good evening everyone, dear colleagues,
Ladies, Gentlemen, Excellencies,
Happy to be here and thank you for joining us today. It is a beautiful day here at UN and our Mission is honored to be among co-organizers of the 2023 Diwali Stamp – Power of One
Award ceremony.
Very briefly, couple of points I want to make.
First of all, congratulations to Ranju and Ravi Batra for their dedication. Diwali stamp is a clear demonstration of the power of one, as how through Ranju’s perseverance this event has become such a success, and we are able and happy to celebrate it together.
It needs no explanation how we all need the spirit and power of Diwali, victory of light over darkness, good over evil but…
But in today’s world, to be very fair, no less important is to have clear eyes and be able to distinct good from evil, and stand for good.
Let me congratulate all the Awardees to be honored today. As we celebrate your work, we are grateful for your achievements.
